SAEPI has partecipated with success to Antarctica campaign summer 1997-1998 thirteenth mission, providing to the planning, material supply, primer and erection, according to API 650 code, of a double wall storage tank 600Cm capacity for jet fuel, at Terranova Bay. Welders were qualified according to ASME IX, construction materials were in ASTM to 516 gr 70 and ASTM 312 TP 304L requalified at - 50°C.
